As an experienced Leadership Trainer and Personal Development Speaker, Maxson Training & Consulting owner and lead instructor, Alex Herrera, is known for transforming the lives of audiences. He and his select core of coaches provide training seminars and talks that are attended by people of all ages, backgrounds and roles and have inspired leaders from a variety of industries. An inspiring and thought-provoking approach combined with an outside-the-box perspective, Maxson Training will help you break through challenges to reach your goals.

The owner of Maxson Training & Consulting, Alex Herrera, has a Master's Degree from the University of Central Florida and has been conducting advanced training and public speaking engagements for over 25 years. He has held numerous formal leadership positions in the private sector and currently holds the rank of Commander at the Brevard County Sheriff's Office. There he currently commands the Merritt Island East Precinct, with a large number of sworn and civilian staff. Additionally, he commands the Aviation Unit, Traffic Unit, Agricultural / Marine Unit and Volunteers. Some of his prior duties included overseeing all agency training, recruitment, backgrounds, Major of the Professional Standards Unit (Internal Affairs), K-9 Unit, Narcotics & Vice, Homicide, Special Victim's Unit, and more. He enjoys training, teaching, and inspiring others to reach their full potential by removing the veil of secrecy to success. The company name, Maxson Training & Consulting, is in memory of his late father, Max Herrera, who was an amazing leader that dedicated his life to the service of others.
